"Being a caregiver is not easy. There are so many changes in life, and so many new responsibilities to stay on top of. Caregivers can easily become isolated and unwell because of the care challenges, and the inability to find the right life balance. My business exists because I know life can become overwhelming and stressful when a care receiver develops dementia. Many studies have found that caregivers of those with dementia have higher levels of burnout than other caregivers.
For over 9 years, in my own life, I cared for my mother who lived with dementia... so I understand. I have seen lives get turned upside down, and reality completely changed. I want caregivers to know that they not alone, despite how alienated they might feel. As a partner in caregiving, I am in this and ready to join caregivers in their journey towards a healthier, happier life."
