  • Coaching is like a conversation in which the coach helps to identify goals, work out what is stopping the caregiver from achieving them, consider options for action and plan to take them forward.

  • The emphasis is on supporting people to make their own decisions and take action; it about helping people develop self-confidence in their role as caregiver

  • Coaching sessions normally last about an hour and can take place weekly, bi-weekly or monthly, whatever suits you best. Sessions are confidential and done in person, online or by phone.
