"I met with Brenda when my Dad was first diagnosed with vascular dementia. She was able to coach me on how to communicate with Dad, this led to me to having a better relationship with him. During our talks, I learned the importance of self-care and having a life of my own. Brenda was a godsend when my Dad was admitted to hospital, she guided me in standing up for myself when I felt unheard by the hospital discharge team. I was very grateful for all her help."
Brenda's knowledge of Alzheimer gave me a better understanding in getting through the tough times when my Mom was diagnosed with dementia. As one of the family caregivers, she guided me and my family in finding a nursing home in her home town which resulted in being the perfect home for Mom--we couldn't be happier for her and us too! Brenda is a very caring person who listens to you, understands what you are going through and is very passionate about coaching. We are so grateful for Brenda for supporting me and my family and she did it mostly en français! Merci."
